a) Global Community Games:
The Global Community Games (GCG) is about fun community-based sports events that bring together a partnership of many groups across a city, village, island or region. Within the partnership of Community-based Games are four specific types of games. Participants will be trained to use these games as an outreach tool.
-KidsGames
-TeenGames
-FamilyGames
-EdgeGames
Please visit www.globalcommunitygames.com for more information.
b) Equipping to Witness:
Witnessing Explosion teaches "witnessing" as a life-style. This will equip one to be effective in sharing the 5 basic foundations of the faith: Grace, Man, God, Christ & Faith. One will know how to start a conversation (Taking Off) regarding spiritual matters and how to lead a prospect through the 5 points of the Gospel and challenge them to receive the gift of eternal-life (Landing).
This course will also direct all to rely on the Holy Spirit as prayer is key to any success in Father's business. The other factors to effective witnessing are Know-How and Confidence which this EE programme will be able to give to all participants.
c) Creative & Performing Arts:
Various workshops in drama and dance will be offered to creatively communicate the message of God’s story. These workshops give participants the opportunity to be part of a creative, artistic community while at the same time giving our inner most beings and passions to God to use for His glory.
-Drama: Making Your Story God’s Story
By using personal stories and childhood memories, the teams will be taught techniques of visual and physical theatre to express and create stories to connect the audience with His story.
-Dance: All of the various dance classes from Street Jazz, to Hip Hop to Contemporary; each style is unique in expression and focuses on individual flavour and attitude. You will be taught a routine and moves that has a purpose and intent that engages the audience.
-The Art of Mime: Join us to learn how to tell a story without words, through the use of body gestures, emotions and acting.
-Singing the Good News!
This workshop will equip and train participants to go out on the streets and be able to confidently share the gospel and personal testimonies through songs. The team of trainers are from Destiny Music Awards & Festival (http://www.m-ilab.com/destiny/)
d) Maximizing the effective use of Media and digital technology for cross-cultural sharing
This would be a very practical workshop which would be geared towards helping the participants actually gain skills and strategies for using multi-lingual media tools to reach people in a cross-cultural setting and for their present outreaches. We are called to reach ALL peoples. Every person has the right to receive a clearly understood gospel presentation. Most of the remaining unreached peoples will only be reached if a team goes cross-culturally. Many short term outreach teams will not know the language and culture of the people they need to reach. However this does not mean that they cannot be effective in their witnessing efforts. They will need instruction and resources to help them communicate the gospel message in a way their audience will best respond to and understand.
GOAL OF THE WORKSHOP: To inspire, inform and equip outreach teams with effective tools for cross-cultural sharing. Most teams will need to have additional resources to share the message in the heart language of the people they need to reach
e) The Holy Spirit & Treasure hunt
God is raising up a new generation for his kingdom expansion in these exciting days!! In this training session you will be challenged and inspired to take risks and enjoy the task of fulfilling the great commission!
Treasure hunting is about supernatural witnessing. We will coach you to depend on the Holy Spirit for strategies and clues to encounter with people on the streets bringing the good news of the Kingdom to every man.
It is about equipping, empowering and activating the believer to live a naturally supernatural lifestyle of power witnessing. The aim is to increase the level of confidence and competence, so that every believer is able to take responsibility in bringing the good tidings to the world!
